Description
NewsWatcher-UB is a UniversalBinary version of John Norstad's NewsWatcher program. NewsWatcher-UB runs under Mac OS X 10.2.8. or later.
NewsWatcher-UB is available as freeware and you can download it from our web site. The source code is also available, and requires XCode 2.3.


Functionality
NewsWatcher-UB works, but is not the most feature rich application you will ever see. I believe it works quite well for what it does.

Features
Stable, been tested for many years.
Low CPU usage (1% @ 50k/s download @ G4/500).

Documentation
The NewsWatcher 2.2.2 manual is available in both Adobe PDF format and the proprietary Microsoft Word format.

Check out the problems page,which has a list of known problems, a list of fixed problems and directions for filing bug reports.

Payment
You don't. It is free and I did it for fun, to see how long it would take and to give something back.
